The Salem Sidecar
A slight twist on the Boston Sidecar, using spiced rum instead of light rum. I'm sure there's another name for this, but I like mine.
The Salem Sidecar
for 2 large servings and 3 small servings
2 1/2 oz. spiced rum (I like Sailor Jerry's or Myers)
2 1/2 oz. brandy
2 1/2 oz. orange curacao (or Cointreau if you want to be fancy)
juice of 1 lime
- Chill glasses in freezer if you have the time.
- Use lime quarters to juice the rim of each glass and dip in sugar.
- Combine ingredients in a large shaker and shake.
- Garnish with a cherry (of course).
